Fantec WR-C3151-6G Backplane for 5x 3.5"/2.5" HDD/SSD. Backplane systems are used in servers and allow for easy installation and replacement of hard drives. With the plug-in technology of drive bays, the hard drives are integrated into the system via connectors rather than the usual cable connections. This allows for tool-free and straightforward replacement of hard drives without needing to open the server case. The hot-swap technology additionally enables the replacement and swapping of hard drives while the system is running.
