The EX-1188HMS-3 provides 7 USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly known as USB 3.0) downstream ports, with 15 kV ESD surge protection for each output. It is possible to connect up to seven external USB peripherals to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port from a notebook, desktop computer, or server in a 19" rack. It can be used in automation, industrial, and office applications. Thanks to its special housing, the EX-1188HMS-3 can be mounted on the wall, under a table, or in a 19" cabinet (optionally with EX-6099).

Bus Power Jumper:
ENA = Bus power operation possible
DIS = Operation only with power supply possible (self-powered)
Host Control Jumper:
ON = Power supply independent of host PC
HOST = Power supply only when host PC is turned on
