The EX-1452IS is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Super-Speed Isolation Adapter with a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps. It features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port with 15 kV ESD surge protection and 3 kV capacitive isolation for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly USB 3.0), USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices. However, it only supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 hosts; USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 hosts are not supported. The EX-1452IS also offers the unique ability to operate in bus-powered mode without an external power supply, making it ideal for low-power USB devices. Additionally, a DC jack is available for external power supply if more power is needed at the downstream port. The EX-1452IS provides a simple solution for isolating USB connections.
