The EX-1012 is an external expansion box with four PCI slots for expanding or supplementing PCI connections via a PCI Express slot. No jumpers are needed for setting I/O addresses and interrupts, as these are automatically assigned by the motherboard. The EX-1012 can operate in addition to the motherboard's PCI connections and supports all standard PCI I/O cards (e.g., serial, parallel, USB, FireWire, etc.) with 5 and 3.3 volts. Included in the package are a PCIe host adapter card, a USB-C extension cable, and the expansion box itself. The EX-1012 provides immediate PCI bus expansion through the PCI Express slot of any computer system. No drivers or software installation is required. An external 12V/3A power supply is included with the EX-1012.

Note: The USB-C cable is only for connecting the box to the PCIe host adapter card. The box cannot be directly connected to the USB-C port of a laptop or PC.
