The robust, industrial-grade EX-1112HMS hub provides twelve USB 3.2 Gen 1 downstream ports with 15KV ESD surge protection. This allows for the connection of up to twelve external USB peripherals to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port from a computer in a 19" rack. It supports the SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 1.1. The EX-1112HMS can be powered via USB bus power or through a two-wire terminal block connection (self-power). In self-power mode, 900 mA can be provided at each USB port. The hub meets the specific requirements of industrial applications.
