The compact and robust EX-1116HMVS provides 16 screwable USB 3.0 downstream ports, with protection for connected devices against voltage fluctuations and 15 kV ESD overvoltage protection. This allows for the connection of up to sixteen external USB peripherals to a USB 3.0 port from the computer in a 19" rack. The included EX-K1571V cable (1.5 meters) with A connector to B connector can be attached to the EX-1116HMVS using thumb screws without a screwdriver. The EX-1116HMVS can be used in automation as well as office applications and meets the specific requirements of industrial applications. A DIN rail kit and two metal plates for mounting on the wall or in a 19-inch rack are included with the EX-1116HMVS. It can also be used as a charging station for tablets and smartphones.
