Machined from solid aluminum, this backplate can be mounted in addition to the EK-Quantum Vector Strix water coolers for ASUS ROG Strix RX 6800, RX 6800XT, and 6900XT graphics cards. It significantly improves power distribution in the area of the voltage regulators and contributes to cooling the PCB components through the thermal pad. The backplate is black and is mounted on the back of the graphics card.

In addition to enhancing aesthetics, the backplate provides greater stability for the graphics card with a water cooler. This effectively prevents the PCB from bending due to uneven tightening of the screws when securing the main cooler, thus avoiding prolonged stress.
