To prevent eye fatigue, the EcoView sensor continuously measures changes in ambient light and automatically optimizes the screen to ideal brightness levels. The EcoView Optimizer reduces power consumption by lowering the brightness of the backlight and increasing signal amplification. To ensure image quality, the function only increases signal amplification when the screen predominantly displays dark content. A range of additional features guarantees eye comfort during long-term use: for example, use the Paper Mode, which simulates the appearance of printed paper—especially pleasant for reading longer documents. This also reduces the blue light portion that is taxing on the retina. The Flicker-Free technology eliminates screen flicker, and the anti-glare surface prevents distracting reflections.
