High Flow HotSide
High throughput 3D printing is just a 30-second nozzle swap away! Achieve high flow results in the same form factor as a standard E3D Revo thanks to optimized internal nozzle geometry. The Revo High Flow HotSide Bundle allows for maximum volumetric flow performance from your Revo HotEnd.
How does it work? Unlike our previous High Flow Hotends (Volcano and SuperVolcano), the Revo High Flow maintains the same form factor as the standard Revo HotEnds; this means you won’t need to adjust your existing mounts and fan ducts! Revo High Flow uses a unique, custom internal geometry to increase the surface area for improved heat transfer to the filament.
Why a 60W HeaterCore? While the 60W core is not necessary in most cases, it provides extra power for printing high flow materials at higher temperatures, such as polycarbonate. For users printing with PLA and PETG, the 40W HeaterCore is more than sufficient. However, if you aim for maximum flow performance, we recommend pairing your nozzles with a 60W HeaterCore.
Additional nozzle sizes: Revo High Flow allows for higher flow rates with existing nozzle sizes of 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm, and expands your arsenal with nozzle sizes of 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm, and 1.4 mm.
Volumetric flow rate (based on printing with PLA at 220°C):
With 0.4 mm nozzles, the volumetric throughput increases by 38% (18 mm³/s).
With 0.6 mm nozzles, the volumetric throughput increases by 57% (22 mm³/s).
With 0.8 mm nozzles, the volumetric throughput increases by 64% (28 mm³/s).
1.0 mm nozzles have a volumetric throughput of 35 mm³/s.
1.2 mm nozzles have a volumetric throughput of 37 mm³/s.
1.4 mm nozzles have a volumetric throughput of 37 mm³/s.
