The Dynavox tube amplifier VR-70 is an undisputed top class in its price range. As various tests in audio magazines show, it can even be compared to much more expensive tube amplifiers. It features one input and speaker connections for 4 and 8 ohms, delivering 2x40 W RMS across a frequency range of 10 Hz to 40 kHz. Total harmonic distortion: under 1%, signal-to-noise ratio: over 88 dB, input impedance: 20 kOhm. The following tubes are used: 4x EL34 (ultralinear circuit) for the power stage, 2x 6F2 (ECF82) for the preamp and phase inverter.
