NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards utilize a new 16-pin connector (12+4-pin) with PCIe 5.0 standard for power supply. This connector is also referred to as the 12VHPWR connector. CableMod offers a complete set of power supply cables for connecting to motherboards in compact systems with the CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Cable Extension Kit, which includes a 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0 adapter.

In addition to a 16-pin 12VHPWR to 3x 8-PCIe cable with 16AWG wires, the kit includes cables for powering the motherboard. The CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Cable Extension Kit is particularly suitable for compact systems and features high-quality ModMesh sleeving. Some cables come with pre-installed, closed cable combs. Important notes: For the 16-pin 12VHPWR to 3x 8-PCIe cable to function correctly, all 8-pin connectors must be connected to the power supply. The distance between the graphics card connector and the side panel must be at least 4 to 4.5 cm. Additionally, the cable should be bent only 35 mm away from the connector on the GPU. Finally, it should be ensured that the 12+4-pin connector is fully and securely plugged into the socket on the graphics card.
