The system consists of three components: the BuildTak FlexPlate, our unique magnetic mounting base and a standard BuildTak sheet. Together, they form a system that makes the print removal process easier than ever. .Designed in the most popular sizes, it has been ensured that the product can be used with a wide range of printers. How does it work? Simple. Peel back the adhesive backing to attach the unique magnetic mount to your print bed, apply a BuildTak film to the FlexPlate, and magnetically attach the BuildTak-coated FlexPlate to your base. Make a one-time adjustment to your z-height to compensate for the added thickness of the FlexPlate system, then begin printing. Here's how it simply works:. Peel off the adhesive backing and adhere the magnetic mount to your print bed. Adhere a BuildTak film to the moving FlexPlate. You can now place the BuildTak-coated FlexPlate on your print bed. There it will be magnetically fixed. Adjust the Z offset for your extruder to compensate for the extra thickness of the FlexPlate system. Start printing. When printing is complete, simply remove the FlexPlate from your print bed. If you bend the Flexplate , you can remove your print object very easily!
