This extruder upgrade kit for the Raise3D N1/N2/N2+ printer will replace the original feeder on the printhead. It fits both dual and single nozzle printers.
The upgrade allows for more reliable printing with all types of filaments, both stiff and flexible. The DualDrive system ensures that the extruder never loses grip of the filament, eliminating issues like grinding and slipping.
The original extruder setup on Raise3D weighs 532g for a single setup, while this new upgrade weighs 252g with the included motor, allowing for faster printing without surface issues caused by vibrations during acceleration and deceleration.
The kit includes a lightweight pancake motor and features a push-fit connector for a 4 mm PTFE tube, enabling you to connect the existing guide tube to the extruder (tube not included).
Installation takes about half an hour with standard tools and fits both the Revision 1 (casted) and Revision 2 (CNC-milled) versions of the printhead.
A full installation guide is available in the installation guide tab, and the installation process can be completed in about 20 minutes.
This is a plug-and-play solution, requiring no cutting or soldering of wires.
E-step value: 415
Important: It has come to our attention that if the ribbon cable to the break-out board becomes unplugged while the printer is turned on, thermal runaway may occur. Ensure that the ribbon cable is securely held in place with hot glue or a zip tie.
