The GPAC502 is an aluminum center column adapter that allows the center column to be adjusted to nearly any angle - from an upright vertical position to a horizontal position and even to a downward-facing vertical position, or anything in between. One end of the center column is equipped with a 3/8-16 connection for most tripod heads, while the other end features a sandbag or ballast slot. An object can be hung from the other end to enhance balance and stability. The center column is also suitable for panoramic photography. Release the knob for the panorama lock to enable rotations and 360-degree panoramic shots. The integrated quick-release plate of the GPAC502 is equipped with an ARCA mount that can be used with Arca heads. The bottom of the plate has two anti-slip pins. Additionally, there are extra ¼-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points on the bottom of the plate, allowing it to be attached to a video quick-release plate or a variety of other options.
