The KL1508Ai KVM switch is an LCD KVM switch in a dual-rail design that allows you to control up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). It features a built-in LCD screen, a full-sized keyboard, and a touchpad, and is mounted in a 1U rack for 19-inch cabinets in a retractable housing.

The 8-port KVM switch enables remote access via LAN or the Internet, extending the distance between the PC and the KVM switch up to 30 meters (at 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz). Internet browser access, Windows client, and Java client are supported. No software is required: computer selection is made using buttons on the device or hotkeys and OSD menu.

The switch supports all server platforms and VT100-based devices, as well as multi-platform server environments, including PS/2, USB, Sun, and serial connections. RJ45 ports provide structured access to the device without cable clutter.

Using Daisy Chain, up to 15 additional devices and thus up to 128 PCs can be controlled. Up to 64 users can be active with up to 32 simultaneous connections. Viewing all 8 PCs on one screen at the same time is possible in Panel Array Mode. A message board allows communication among logged-in users.

Advanced security features include password protection, 1024-bit RSA, 256-bit AES, 56-bit DES, and 128-bit SSL. RADIUS server support is also available.
