Powered by an ARM 6-core system on a chip (SoC) with the new 64-bit Armv8 architecture - the RK3399 - the Tinker Board 2S delivers significantly improved performance compared to other common SBC boards. It also features ARM's big.LITTLE technology, a heterogeneous processor architecture that combines two very different processors in a single SoC. The big.LITTLE software automates task assignment, ensuring that each process is allocated to the appropriate CPU core. As a result, the Tinker Board 2S is nearly twice as powerful as the original Tinker Board and significantly faster than many competing SBCs.
