To accommodate such powerful components, both the chassis and motherboard of the Strix G18 have been designed to accommodate ASUS full-width heatsinks, with fins moved even closer to the exhaust vents for more efficient cooling. The full-width heatsink consists of three distinct sections and surrounds the motherboard with densely packed fins for a total surface area of 195.509 mm², a 92% increase over the Strix G17 2022, this design maximises the available path for hot air to escape the machine and dramatically increases overall airflow.
