... Like all the cards tested, the Challenger needs additional power from the power supply via an eight-pin connector and also draws the highest peak values of 278 watts from it. These only occur in the millisecond range under full load, but can lead to a crash with very tightly dimensioned power supplies - so it's better to plan with the higher wattage here.
