The Aruba Virtual Mobility Controller (VMC) is implemented as a virtual machine. Its flexible implementation makes it an alternative to hardware mobility controllers. This virtual controller also impresses with its large capacity and high speeds for BYOD solutions and IEEE 802.11ac devices in campus networks or branch office networks. The VMC can be implemented as a standalone solution or managed through the Aruba Mobility Master. In this case, it can support up to 100,000 users.
