The Light OctaDome 120 is an octagonal Bowens Mount softbox with a diameter of 120 cm. This 8-sided softbox transforms any point light source with a Bowens mount into an ultra-soft area light, bathing your set in diffuse light.
The 8-sided design of the OctaDome creates a more natural, round catchlight than a 4' x 4' gel frame. Since you can easily mount the OctaDome directly onto your light and even add a control grid, there’s no need for stands, arms, or sandbags to set up a similar frame.
The Light OctaDome 120 features two diffusion strengths (1.5 and 2.5 stops) and an inner baffle that allows the user to fine-tune the intensity and quality of the light.
The OctaDome 120 is also the perfect softbox for on-the-go shooting. It is flat-packable, comes with a compact carrying case, weighs only 1.7 kg, and offers the ideal balance between a square frame and a round softbox.
