This high-performance desktop battery backup system combines maximum protection with flexible design. The fully equipped APC Back-UPS RS can be placed on the floor, under the monitor, or on a shelf. Six battery-backed outputs with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) ensure uninterrupted operation for 6 to 16 minutes even during frequent voltage drops and undervoltages. For printers and other devices that do not store or process data, there are two additional outputs with surge protection. Surge protection for Ethernet 10/100BaseT and telephone lines safeguards against surges transmitted over the network. The PowerChute Personal Edition software allows for convenient system shutdown with advanced power management features.

Features include: automatic voltage regulation (AVR), an LCD display, intelligent outputs, and energy-saving functions to reduce power consumption. LCD status display.
