The battery can also be used at temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 °C. Since the NiMH battery can be used wherever disposable batteries are utilized, it not only benefits the environment but also saves you money. The self-discharge rate is ten times lower than that of standard NiMH batteries. After one year, around 80% of the initial capacity is still available. This has been made possible by a special separator that drastically reduces unwanted internal current flow. The battery is delivered pre-charged and is therefore ready for immediate use.
