You will be notified of any detected movement. Since you have the option to set monitoring zones, unnecessary motion alerts are avoided by excluding areas with natural movement within the camera's field of view. Think of trees or bushes swaying in the wind, as well as areas with road traffic. After all, you probably don't want to be notified every time a completely natural movement occurs.

You can also feel secure in the dark with the Alecto DVC166IP, as the Wi-Fi camera features infrared lighting that allows for night vision of up to 12 meters. And you no longer have to worry about missing events: if something moves, the camera records it on a micro SD card (not included), so you can review it later.
