After Aksys Games opened the doors to more female-oriented romance novels and due to its success in localizing the Hakuoki series, Aksys Games is set to bring romance back with its latest otome visual novel game, Norn9: Var Commons.

The story begins when the prodigy Sorata Suzuhara walks away after hearing a mysterious song and faints. When he wakes up, he finds himself transported to a place that looks like the past. In this unknown and strange location, he soon meets a girl who informs him that he has skipped through time and promises to help him return home. Sorata follows the mysterious girl onto a round airship called Norn, which flies with technology that exceeds his imagination. On this airship, he meets three young women and nine young men, all of whom possess unique powers, on a journey given to them by a person known as "The World."

Unravel the secrets of the ship and its occupants from the perspective of each of the three girls, interact with other characters, and see how they react to specific situations. Experience the journey and the diverging storyline as players decide the fate of the characters in a branching narrative.
