Some products also have ATEX certification for use in explosive atmospheres. The CM-MSS thermistor motor protection relay offers features such as heavy starting, increased switching frequency, high ambient temperature, insufficient cooling, and interruption. The CM series of thermistor motor protection relays is used for controlling motors with PTC temperature sensors. The PTC temperature sensors are integrated into the motor windings and measure the heating of the motor. This allows for direct control and evaluation of operating conditions. Main applications include dynamic detection of broken wires, a wide control voltage range of 24 to 240 V AC/DC, short-circuit monitoring of the sensor circuit, non-volatile fault memory, and remote reset. Screw connection technology or Easy-Connect technology is available. Version with single sensor input and wire break detection.
