Dual band, fast wifi
I have experimented with a number of brands of powerline with wifi access point and I think this Netgear PLW1000v2 works the best in this price range. The wifi is dual band. I use the 5GHz band for my phone and tablet, and the 2.4GHz for the TV. The internet speed on my phone is shown as 433 Mbit/s. For best reception you should point the "ears" in the direction where you want to use the wifi. The firmware is up to date (v18). There are 2 good YouTube videos on optimum set up. My Lindy ethernet cable fits the adapter tightly, which is not the case with another brand.
