Bubble, bubble, boil and beep
The Bosch TWK8613P comes with a bunch of features, such as heating your water to your desired temperature of 70, 80 or 90 degrees. Which is a feature I, so far, can't really see the benefit of.
The kettle beeps when you turn it on, and when it finishes boiling. It is a relatively loud beep, and it would be nice to be able to tone down the volume. It isn't necessarily a deal breaker.
This version of the kettle comes with an EU plug, so you need to use the included adaptor, which is bulkly and annoying and means you can't actually use all 3 plugs at the wall point as they all fight with each other for the space (why don't they point OUTWARDS?). The base of the kettle also takes a bit more space as it is sqaure.
That said, the kettle does what it advertises. Boils your water, fairly fast, has an easy to open lid, and is double-insulated so the outside of the kettle isn't hot to the touch. The element is also hidden.
