Smart and yet elegant: Garmin delivers a successor to "Lily"

Translation: machine translated

Smartwatches don't always have to look like the person wearing them wants to park an aircraft carrier in the harbour next. Garmin proves this with the "Lily 2" model.

Nearly two years after "Lily", Garmin has now launched "Lily 2". Visually, the new model differs little from its predecessor. If you look at the specifications, you will also have to look for the differences between "Lily 2" and "Lily".

According to the data sheet, the 2024 model has two major new features. (We will provide a test report as soon as we have the watch.)

  • Sleep analysis with "Sleep Score"
  • Wristbands with "Quick Release" for quick change

According to Garmin, the "Sleep Score" provides values on sleep quality and makes suggestions on how to improve your sleep. If you want to become a researcher of your own sleep behaviour, there are recordings of the individual sleep stages as well as heart rate, stress level, oxygen saturation and breathing rate.

The new wristbands are available in silicone, nylon or leather. At 14 millimetres, they are just as wide as the old "Lily", but are still not compatible with it. So if you have a collection of wristbands from the previous model, you cannot use them for "Lily 2".

Most of the technical specifications remain unchanged:

  • Display: 16 grey scales, touch display with 240 ×x 201 pixels, display with 16 grey scales
  • Battery: up to 5 days battery life
  • Protection: Gorilla Glass 3, waterproof up to 5 ATM (suitable for swimming)
  • Weight: 24 grams (plus 0.4 grams compared to its predecessor)

The "Lily 2" will be available in six colour variants, with "Lily" currently available in four colours in the "Classic Edition" and another four in the "Sport Edition".

We still have the predecessor model, the Lily Sport, in the shop.

We are currently clarifying when the "Lily 2" will be available. If you click on "like" on the Garmin brand page in the shop, you will find out in good time when it will be available.
