Refund pending for over 5 weeks - very disappointing experience with Digitec
I would like to share my experience here, because I'm getting really lost. I placed an order with Digitec on 08.04.2026 and cancelled it on 09.04.2026. However, the amount of approx. CHF 2,300 has still not been refunded to date (18/05/2026). I have now contacted customer service more than 8 or 9 times. The answer is the same every time: "Accounting is looking into it." "The accounting department will get back to you." "Please be patient." But after more than a month, nothing has happened. To be honest, I think it's a shame that customers would very quickly receive reminders, default interest or even debt collection orders for late payments - but when a customer is waiting for their own money, everything suddenly seems to take an infinitely long time. I've tried to remain patient and respectful the whole time, but you really start to lose trust. Has anyone had similar experiences or knows what else to do in a case like this?
