After working with Raidho loudspeakers for more than 12 years, we were faced with a completely new challenge when we were asked to develop a new range of high-performance loudspeakers for the Scansonic brand.
From the beginning, we were very focused on building on all the experience and strengths we had gained in developing Raidho loudspeakers. At the same time, we had to be aware of the Scansonic brand's long heritage and Nordic design tradition. This time, the task also involved a budget and a desire to create the best possible within financial constraints.
From the beginning, we knew that some core techniques of Raidho speakers would be important: The speakers had to be designed around a ribbon tweeter that uses a super-light diaphragm sealed at the edges for optimal performance seamless transition to the midrange.
