Julbo was founded, believe it or not, in 1888 in Morez, France. At the beginning of the 20th century, founder Jules Baud developed the first high-altitude sunglasses for the crystal seekers of Chamonix, who were concerned about protecting their eyes - The passion for high-performance sunglasses and glasses for extreme situations was born. With the Vermont model, Julbo achieved a revolutionary success in 1950: the glacier goggles paved the way to the summit for many mountaineers. Today, they are still popular with alpinists and rock stars alike, and now the traditional brand also offers sunglasses for babies and children.
