The Canadian mobile phone company BlackBerry was founded in 1999 and is known worldwide, especially for its physical keyboard. The business mobile phone was born. The BlackBerry 5810 took the first steps in the direction of a smartphone, which for the first time was able to synchronize emails reliably over an Internet connection and also kept the calendar up to date. As the era of the smartphone began, BlackBerry went on the market with its own OS. The Bold and Curve series were powered by BlackBerry OS and basked in the limelight worldwide. In 2015 the first BlackBerry device with Android was introduced. The PRIV is the first device where BlackBerry initiates its DNA to provide the most secure software and hardware. 2016 the BlackBerry hardware is outsourced. In the future BlackBerry will be a pure software developer.
