It would be very advantageous if the width and possibly the depth of the recess on the top were recorded. There are washbasins where the supply lines are slightly offset. In my model, both are positioned in such a way that a minimum distance of 142 mm would be required. At the moment, I simply have to restrict the height or rework the furniture.

If you're looking for a vanity unit for your rented flat, you're bound to get a bit confused here. For example, if you enter the search term "width 0-41.5mm", more than half of the furniture suggested is still 60 cm. In addition, there are x washbasin vanity units which are described at the top/in the search with completely different dimensions to those at the bottom of the specifications: What is correct here? Should I just buy at random? I would also like to suggest that you can filter between free-standing and open-top (for all the special basins).

There are currently 1001 vanity units. Based on my experience, the most important criteria are whether the furniture also includes the washbasin and the size of the cut-out for the siphon. My suggestions for additional filters to make the choice easier for us: 1) With or without washbasin included. 2) Depth of the cut-out for the siphon. 3) Height of the cut-out for the siphon.

Would welcome a distinction between solid wood/solid wood and MDF/chipboard. The material group wood does not bring much... Applies to all furniture
