I would like to replace the room thermostats of my ground source heat pump with smart ones (wired). Which products can be switched from heating to cooling on the thermostat? There should be an additional connection, shouldn't there?

Hello all I want to get smart heating thermostats in the near future, but I'm not quite sure which manufacturer. I'm also planning to get fire alarms and possibly the weather station from Netatmo. Do you think it would make sense to build everything on one system or does that not make a big difference? The Netatmo products are also a bit more expensive than, for example, Homematic IP.
