Hello Morimue It does not have an on/off switch. You may be able to operate the luminaire via a switched socket. I control and dim it via Hue Bridge / App. and use the various great scenes and rules. I would buy the light again. 👋🏼

I bought the lamp a good year ago, it needs a bridge. But I would not buy the lamp again: In the end, it's just an expensive fixture for a Hue bulb. It is cheaper to buy a comparable "glass globe" in a large furniture store and simply put a Hue bulb in it.
