Question about Onkyo TX-NR6100
Is the remote control with infrared? In my case, the device would not be visibly installed and (at least in the picture) it has no connection for an external IR receiver.

Yes, it is a classic (cheap) IR remote control.
The slightly better equipped Pioneer would have an external IR connection. It costs a little more, but you also get 9.2 channels instead of 7.2.

Yes, but if you want to install it, leave plenty of space for the cooling. Gets warm.
The unit can be controlled via its own or general IR remote controls. In my case it is Harmony from Logitech.
