hello Can I install these SSD's in my Synology NAS (DS210j)? Synology says SATA II under connections, is that still possible? https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/DataSheet/DiskStation/10-year/DS210j/Synology_DS210j_Data_Sheet_deu.pdf

Helpful answer

It does work, but SATA-II has a maximum transfer rate of 3Gbit/s. The SSD probably has about 520MByte/s = approx. 5GBit/s (unfortunately not listed in the specifications).
This means that the Synology cannot deliver the maximum transfer rate that the SSD could.
In a MacBookPro from 2010 it is the same situation, nevertheless I did it and the SSD became much faster compared to the previous hard disk.

Yes, that should work. SATA III is backwards compatible.
