PoE is preferably used when there is no power supply available at the operating location, and suitable devices can be powered simultaneously through the incoming network cable. This PoE injector complies with the Gigabit Ethernet standard with a data transfer rate of 1 GBit/s and has a maximum output voltage of 48 V as well as a power output of 15.4 W. The plastic housing features two RJ45 sockets and a cold device connection. Power is supplied via pins 4/5(+) and 7/8(-) through the designated "PoE" network socket. The PoE output includes current limitation, short-circuit protection, and automatic device detection and classification. The injector itself consumes a maximum of 1.6 watts. A cold device connection cable is included in the delivery.
