High definition HDMI through the local network! The DEXLAN HDMI / USB over IP extension kit allows you to move your HDMI and USB console up to 100 meters from your computer by connecting the two transmitter and receiver boxes with a simple RJ45 cable, Category 5 or 6 (6a recommended). The DEXLAN HDMI / USB offset kit uses a Gigabit Ethernet signal and allows you to overcome the standard 100-meter limitation by connecting it to a gigabit network switch that supports IGMP management (level 2 recommended). The distance between the two boxes is then limited only by your LAN infrastructure. Additionally, it is possible to use Gigabit Ethernet media converters to transmit the signal over optical fibers, exceeding distances from meters to kilometers. The DEXLAN HDMI / USB over IP Remote Kit works in point-to-point mode.
